This blog post on Hack College offers a great suggestion for
courses you can take now—basically “free,” since you’ve got to take general
education distribution courses. They’re supposed to make you a well-rounded
person (no sharp edges, please).
There are six classes listed here—and while Niagara
University does not offer “gardening,” you can find a variation of the other
five on our menu of upcoming courses for the next few semesters.
Most of the rationales concern your own personal life--but giving yourself some "stretch" in terms of what you know how to do can make you a more desirable employee, too!
