I've found a free ebook in pdf format--all you'll ever need to know about personal finance. (Well, the basics, anyway.) I was skeptical at first; but scrolling through, I realized--yeah, this is pretty much what I'd recommend! You can get the book here: http://ia600508.us.archive.org/23/items/EverythingYouEverReallyNeededToKnowAboutPersonalFinanceOnJustOne/OnePage.pdf
And if you like the book, the author also has a blog here: http://www.thesimpledollar.com/. Lots of great information, some guest bloggers, and more specialized topics you might want to look into.
For instance, the link to "credit cards" gives you an overview of good cards for specific needs; http://www.thesimpledollar.com/creditcards/
The "contributors" link not only lists people who have guest-blogged, but gives a thumbnail overview of the special topics they've discussed; http://www.thesimpledollar.com/contributors/
