And why is now an
especially good time to think about expanding your job-hunt strategies to
Twitter? Because the company Twitter is in the process of setting up an IPO, an
"initial public offering." They are going to issue stock for the
first time on the New York Stock Exchange.
Everyone in the business world is talking about
Twitter--will the stock bomb out like Facebook? Does Twitter have the right
stuff to attract investor dollars? Will it be able to sell enough advertising
to make it a profitable company (rather than a hobby on steroids)?
In other words, for the next few months, Twitter will be
riding a wave of popular buzz. Hop on board!
