If you're an English major, chances are you enjoy reading. Here are three blog-posts from reputable sources that might supplement your visits to the Niagara University Career Counseling Center for more personalized advice tailored to your specific needs and interests.

The first is from Forbes, the well-known business magazine, with five central recommendations and some links to other material of interest.

The second is a promotion for the well-known series What Color is your Parachute?

The third is less focused on finding an immediate job, and more concerned with longterm self-improvement--food for the mind of an up-and-coming young leader. This link is from the Harvard Business Review website.

Each of the books mentioned, from what I can see, is linked to a listing on Amazon; many are available through Kindle. I skimmed through the list, and note that the "user ratings" on Amazon seem to be in accord with the recommending blogs.
